Nike Dunk Low SP Veneer

The Nike Dunk Low SP 'Veener' is a re-release of the 2001 CO.JP colorway. Although according to its longer name (Ugly Duckling Pack - Veneer) it is an "ugly duckling", but in our opinion it is more of a special, eccentric colorway, in which the split leather upper part has been given unique shades of green, purple and brown - this is complemented by the yellow lining color.

After the success of the 'Banned' Jordan 1 shoe, Nike's design team focused even more on basketball shoes: in 1985, the Dunk model was introduced. In addition to the color scheme similar to the AJ1, it appeared in many other versions, including in the 'Be True To Your School' series in the colors of long-established American universities. Although the Nike Dunk remained a popular shoe both on the basketball court and on the street, the real renaissance was brought about by skateboarders in the early 2000s. The durable Dunk SB, fully suitable for skateboarding, has also been part of many collaborations: interesting, even extreme versions appeared, and this trend really picked up in 2020!
