PRODUCTS AND AUTHENTICITY
We have a network throughout Europe and even overseas, with only proven and trusted partners who deal exclusively with original sneakers and streetwear.
This means that we have access to the most sought-after and special, rare sneakers and clothes that are not available elsewhere.
We guarantee that you will find original sneakers, clothing and accessories in the True to Sole shop and webshop.
We source only legit products from our extensive and trusted network of partners, with documented traceability back to the first sale by an authorised distributor.
Our experienced team examines every shoe and piece of clothing we receive, one by one, before it goes out to the stores and webshop.
Thanks to this, we are 100% sure that only authentic products are in our selection, we mark them with the True to Sole authenticity tag.
The opportunity is available for you to have the sneakers checked by an approved independent expert (at your own expense) before purchase, please contact our customer service for details.
True to Sole is a resell store and webshop, where you can buy sneakers and clothes that are sold out at the official distributors and brand stores, mostly on the day of release.
We source these products at a price that is already higher than the recommended retail price, i.e. resell price, and then make them available to our customers.
So part of the price difference is due to the higher purchase price and True to Sole's own margin.
The products we sell are covered by accessory and product warranty.
The sneakers available at True to Sole, although of course original, brand new and never used, are legally second-hand products due to the way they are sold.
They therefore come with a one-year warranty: if you return them within this period for a defect that can be proven to have occurred under normal use, due to a manufacturing defect, we will process your claim. You can find detailed information on this in sections 9 and 10 of our General Terms and Conditions.
New products under a purchase price of HUF 10 000 are not covered by a warranty, but by a two-year warranty on accessories. Above HUF 10 000 there is one year warranty and two years accessory warranty is provided.

Each sneaker available in True to Sole stores and online shops is checked one by one by our expert team, guaranteeing that only 100% legit shoes are available.
However, we are unable to provide this legit check service for products purchased/intended to be purchased elsewhere, so please do not contact us for legit check enquiries.
SHOPPING AND PAYMENT
All products listed on the webshop are available for order, but the selection in Budapest and Bucharest differs.
For those products that are not available in the shop or not in all sizes, a note will be included in the product description.
The products shown in the webshop are in stock in our warehouse in Budapest (or in one of our external warehouses).
After ordering, we always check the actual availability of the product, because - as in all webshops - we may rarely have discrepancies or unexpected stock shortages.
Therefore, your order will be officially confirmed when the product can be delivered with 100% certainty.
In our stores, most shoes can be tried on - with the exception of special and very limited edition sneakers.
We would like to give you the opportunity to try on your size, but at the same time we want to ensure that the shoes you buy are kept in perfect condition. Therefore, please always follow the requests of our team (e.g. how to lace the shoe, whether it can be stepped in, etc.)
You'll find a size chart for each snakers that includes the measured sole length - so you can check which is the right size for you.
You'll also find information on sizing in the description. If it's normal sizing, you'll see the TTS / True to Size label.
If you find it says "Runs large", that means order half/one size smaller than you would otherwise order, and "Runs small" means the opposite, order half/one size larger!
If you ordered the shoes online and they are not the right size, you can cancel the purchase within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the full purchase price. It is very important that you only try on the shoes and do not use them!
Our prices are determined by the supply and demand of sneakers on the world market, as well as by current sourcing prices. Some sizes tend to be in higher demand and therefore have higher prices, which is why you may see a price difference between different sizes of the same sneaker.
Our prices are affected by the supply and demand for each sneaker, as well as current prices on the world market.
Some sneakers may change in price several times in a few weeks and others may remain unchanged for months. It may also be the case that some sizes of a silhouette/colorway change in price while others remain unchanged.
Of course, once you have placed your order or accepted the price offered at the time of pre-order, the price will not change for you, even if it changes in our webshop/shop while we are fulfilling your order.
In the webshop you can see the prices in different currencies, you can change them at the bottom of the page.
In the checkout and order confirmation you will see the price in the currency in which the order was placed.
You can pay for your order by credit card through Shopify Payments. All transactions are encrypted and secure. True to Sole does not access or store your bank or card details.
Currently due to technical reasons you cannot pay by card when submitting your order. We and our partners are working on resolvind this issue. In this period you can pay by card at the courier.
When paying by credit card, your card will be charged in the currency of the order.
In Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic you can choose to pay cash on delivery. You can choose to pay in cash or by card at the courier.
In True to Sole Budapest, you can only pay in Hungarian forint, cash or card. In our Bucharest store you can pay in Romanian lei, also by cash or card.
We issue an electronic VAT invoice for all products ordered from our webshop, which is sent to you by e-mail.
Please let us know if you would like to receive a VAT invoice before you pay. You provide your e-mail address and we will issue and send you the VAT e-invoice.
Important information if you order as a company:
If you want to request an invoice for a company, you must provide the exact company name and tax number.
You can do this in the Invoice Address fields in the webshop and in the shop with our colleague.
As a company, the important information regarding VAT reclaim is that due to the nature of the resell sales, the invoice issued will have the same net and gross amounts (0% VAT) and will include the note "VAT margin".
If you like a shoe from our range but it's not in your size, you can place a pre-order request and we'll try to get it for you.

Your order will be delivered in 2-14 working days - it depends on the delivery address and the time of the order. You will be notified when we have dispatched your parcel.
Sneakers that are not shipped from our Budapest store or our central warehouse but from one of our external warehouses may take up to 14 working days to arrive due to delivery and possible customs clearance.
When placing a preorder, we will indicate the estimated time we can deliver the requested product.
AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER
You can cancel the products you have ordered from the webshop within 14 calendar days of receipt without giving any reason, this is your right of withdrawal under the applicable laws.
You can cancel your order by sending an email to support@truetosole.hu indicating your order number. You can return the product at your own cost and risk, the details of which will be sent in the withdrawal confirmation, be sure to wait for this before returning it.
Under no circumstances should you wear/use the product you have ordered as we can only issue a full refund for products in an unworn, resaleable condition.
If you cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible, preferably before dispatch, so that it is packed and dispatched.
You will find all information about withdrawal in point 6 of our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Size swap are not possible - you can cancel your order and return the shoes to us, and then order the correct size. To initiate an order withdrawal, please email support@truetosole.hu.
The sneakers available at True to Sole, although of course original, brand new and never worn, are legally considered second-hand because of the way they are sold.
We therefore offer a one-year warranty: if you return them within this period for a defect that can be proven to have occurred under normal use, due to a manufacturing fault, we will deal with it. You will find detailed information on this in sections 9 and 10 of our GTC.

For any quality complaints, please email support@truetosole.hu with a description of the defect, a picture, the date of purchase and the order or invoice/receipt number.
You can also bring the faulty product back to the shop, bringing the original invoice/receipt with you.
