Tom Sachs is one of the most decisive contemporary artists of our time, known for the NASA space camp exhibitions and the NikeCraft collaboration with Nike. The collaboration resulted in sneakers such as the 2012 Mars Yard. The General Purpose Shoe combines 10 years of innovation with Tom's principle that our shoes are a utility item that we should use freely during our daily routine. In contrast to Mars Yard, a lot of emphasis was placed on availability, so the shoe will appear in more and more colorways in the future. In addition to the minimalist design, special attention was paid to the use of materials for comfort and maximum usability.
